after 10 weeks off, proved better than ever to banish the memory flop in this race last year (11/2 but boiled over in preliminaries), benefiting from a canny ride and showing a good attitude when challenged late on; dictated, quickened over 2f out, tackled final 1f, found extra; she's a prolific winner but circumstances won't always be so favourable.

was well suited by the longer trip and showed much improved form, going about the job much more kindly than at York and shaping as though she'll be even better granted more of a test, be that a sounder pace at this trip or a step up to 2m; prominent, ridden over 2f out, every chance final 1f, ran on.

There was no standout in the field but this was a competitive edition of the Park Hill and it's borderline smart form among the closely-matched fillies that fought it out; the rider on the winner dictated a steadyish pace.

ALYSSA after 10 weeks off, proved better than ever to banish the memory flop in this race last year (11/2 but boiled over in preliminaries), benefiting from a canny ride and showing a good attitude when challenged late on; dictated, quickened over 2f out, tackled final 1f, found extra; she's a prolific winner but circumstances won't always be so favourable.

ALJEZEERA was well suited by the longer trip and showed much improved form, going about the job much more kindly than at York and shaping as though she'll be even better granted more of a test, be that a sounder pace at this trip or a step up to 2m; prominent, ridden over 2f out, every chance final 1f, ran on.

MELODIC MOTION (IRE) again ran well, in spite of a change of tactics that meant she wasn't ideally placed; held up, good progress over 2f out, challenged final 1f, ran on.

DETAILED (IRE) is most progressive and acquitted herself well up in trip and grade, doing well from a tricky position out the back; dropped out, good progress over 1f out, ran on; she should be winning listed races at least.

WILD IRISH ROSE (IRE) again ran well, her third successive solid effort in pattern company; held up, headway over 1f out, challenged entering final 1f, one paced.

DUBKA was below form, seeming caught out by the steady pace; patiently ridden, pushed along 3f out, not quicken, made little impression.

HARLEQUEEN wasn't disgraced but found life tougher back in a pattern race; in touch, took strong hold, pushed along over 2f out, beaten over 1f out.

NATURAL SCENERY looked the form pick judged on her handicap form but ran her worst race of the season, maybe not over that big effort in the Ebor 19 days earlier; prominent, ridden over 2f out, weakened approaching final 1f.

SWEET SELECTION without the headgear this time, was below form, a steady pace at this trip no use to her; mid-division, ridden over 3f out, beaten 2f out.

GROOVEJET was below form, running in this race for the third time in 4 years; always behind.
