presumably needed his comeback run in the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot, this effort much more like it down at 7f for the first time, Moore dictating things in front before going through the gears late on, nothing really able to land a blow from off the pace; made all, travelled fluently, ridden over 1f out, kept on, had the run of the race; it could well be that the rest of his season is geared around a repeat bid in the Breeders' Cup Mile.

kept to 7f, again ran up to his best, just not able to land a telling blow on one who'd very much had the run of things in front; mid-field, ridden under 2f out, kept on final 1f.

still inexperienced after just 4 runs, wasn't seen to best effect up 1f in trip, carried into the centre of the course by the errant Ace Aussie when trying to make ground; mid-field, carried left over 1f out, kept on final 1f, nearest at the finish; may yet do better.

had got stuck in the mud last time but wasn't disgraced here back on better ground; chased leader, took strong hold, ridden over 2f out, carried head bit awkwardly, weakened final 1f.

An up-to-scratch renewal of this Group 2, last year’s Breeders’ Cup Mile winner Order Of Australia returning to his best having dictated a modest tempo in front.

ORDER OF AUSTRALIA (IRE) presumably needed his comeback run in the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot, this effort much more like it down at 7f for the first time, Moore dictating things in front before going through the gears late on, nothing really able to land a blow from off the pace; made all, travelled fluently, ridden over 1f out, kept on, had the run of the race; it could well be that the rest of his season is geared around a repeat bid in the Breeders' Cup Mile.

NJORD (IRE) kept to 7f, again ran up to his best, just not able to land a telling blow on one who'd very much had the run of things in front; mid-field, ridden under 2f out, kept on final 1f.

POWER UNDER ME (IRE) still inexperienced after just 4 runs, wasn't seen to best effect up 1f in trip, carried into the centre of the course by the errant Ace Aussie when trying to make ground; mid-field, carried left over 1f out, kept on final 1f, nearest at the finish; may yet do better.

CURRENT OPTION (IRE) had got stuck in the mud last time but wasn't disgraced here back on better ground; chased leader, took strong hold, ridden over 2f out, carried head bit awkwardly, weakened final 1f.

ACE AUSSIE (IRE) couldn't match the form shown on last 2 starts, hanging left under pressure and carrying Power Under Me with him; pushed along over 2f out, hung left over 1f out, weakened final 1f.

THUNDER BEAUTY (IRE) in first-time visor, ran up to best, just not really up to this level; mid-field, headway under 2f out, effort flattened out.

GALTEE MIST (IRE) wasn't disgraced, though could never get seriously involved; in rear, took strong hold, never landed a blow.
