Broome was less dominant than when beating several of these in a listed race on reappearance but arguably deserves more credit for this success given the emphasis on speed.

BROOME (IRE) has come back thriving and followed up from Naas despite the emphasis on speed here, boding really well for when he inevitably returns to 1½m+; mid-field, not quicken 2f out, headway over 1f out, found plenty to lead close home.

UP HELLY AA (IRE) in first-time visor, showed benefit of reappearance run; prominent, challenged over 2f out, one paced, well positioned.
