set herself up for what promises to be yet another productive campaign by landing the odds against lesser rivals first time back, with never a moment's doubt along the way, making all (full of enthusiasm) and kicking clear decisively over 2f out, all in all totally untroubled.

did much better than the other 3-y-o in making a sound return, aided by Fleeting a place behind not appearing quite as sharp on the day but also the longer trip, by Australia, not in the winner's league all the same; third, pushed along approaching straight, stayed on whilst long since put in place by Magical.

wouldn't have troubled her stablemate regardless but did endure familiar tactics that saw her worst placed of all the way it went, her losing run one of the most unjust around in general; patiently ridden, headway when came wide entering straight, threatened second 1f out, effort flattened out on ground possibly more testing than ideal.

shaped as if better for the run after 4 months off, likely a pipe-opener back down in trip; patiently ridden, headway when switched 2f out, effort proved short-lived.

didn't get home tried at 1¼m for the first time but could have excuses made beyond potential lack of stamina, turned out only 9 days on from her return and in a much higher grade, plus perhaps paying for trying to go with the winner before the other 3; chased leader, ridden straight, weakened over 1f out.

A straightforward renewal - of one of the weaker Group 1 events in the calendar - to assess, Magical good to go reappearing and given a further edge by getting to control the pace.

MAGICAL (IRE) set herself up for what promises to be yet another productive campaign by landing the odds against lesser rivals first time back, with never a moment's doubt along the way, making all (full of enthusiasm) and kicking clear decisively over 2f out, all in all totally untroubled.
