continues the remarkable story, a landmark success for her trainer after being bought for just 12,000 gns back in October, able to turn the tables with Minding having been no match for her when only ninth in the 1000 Guineas 3 weeks previously, but this environment was evidently far more suitable, crucially allowed to dominate back on softer ground, everything right to show her very best; disputed lead, travelled well, went on over 3f out, shaken up 2f out, tackled over 1f out, stayed on strongly; remains with less potential than the runner-up, unlikely to beat her if they met again, and will likely continue to be reliant on these sorts of conditions, but is evidently smart and will deserve respect when faced with this sort of scenario.

only switched here late after stablemate Ballydoyle had been ruled out, was bidding to become the third filly to do the English/Irish 1000 Guineas double, and though dipped slighly below her very smart best on this softer ground, went down all guns blazing to one who had been comfortably beaten by her at Newmarket but had everything fall right on this occasion; in touch, travelled smoothly, shaken up 2f out, disputed lead over 1f out, kept on well, just failed; her class will obviously count for plenty, but a hard race on soft ground is hardly an ideal prep for stepping up to 1½m for the Oaks in just 12 days time, especially considering her stamina isn't fully guaranteed for the trip.

looked the biggest danger to Minding after coming off the back of an impressive success in the Leopardstown trial 2 weeks previously, bought by Qatar Racing in the meantime and though made the places, was unable to confirm that form in the main event, just lacking the zest she had on that occasion; mid-field, ridden over 2f out, kept on, no match for prinicpals; worth another chance, but will need her sights lowering slightly if she's to resume the winning thread.

after 7 months off, faced a very stiff task pitched into this grade off the back of a wide-margin maiden success, and did enough to confirm that debut promise upped 2f in trip, ultimately leaving the impression she will prove better over shorter; in rear, pushed along approaching 2f out, soon beaten; remains with potential.

after 8 months off, essentially wasn't up to this better company, but still shaped better than the distance beaten suggests, just looking as if the run was needed late on having her first try at 1m; handy, travelled well, chased leader approaching 3f out, shaken up over 2f out, weakened over 1f out.

A well up-to-scratch renewal, one which revolved around Minding, who only got the go-ahead after Ballydoyle had been ruled out 2 days previously, though her participation meant she was bidding to emulate Attraction and Finsceal Beo in landing both the English and Irish 1000 Guineas, and though she dipped slightly below her very smart best, it took a very good performance from Jet Setting to deny her, who was an entirely different proposition on this softer ground having been comfortably held by Minding at Newmarket, the pair fighting out a superb finish and pulling well clear of the remainder.
