came into this race in top form having won his last 2 starts over fences and he completed the hat-trick in game fashion, forcing tactics once again seeing him to good effect; made all, not settle fully, shaken up 3f out, kept going well; is reportedly set for a return to fences, but regardless of where he appears next, he will command plenty of respect in his bid for the 4-timer.

wasn't disgraced from a form perspective after 13 weeks off (previous run at Bellewstown flattering in terms of the figures), though this was a rather laboured display, his late headway not as encouraging as it might appear at first glance; slowly into stride and raced a little detached from the field, went in snatches, keeping on when switched over 1f out, never nearer.

A run-of-the-mill handicap for amateur riders, the race lacking in the way of improvers, Hurricane Ridge making all to go 2 places better than in this contest last year; the pace was just fair.

HURRICANE RIDGE (IRE) came into this race in top form having won his last 2 starts over fences and he completed the hat-trick in game fashion, forcing tactics once again seeing him to good effect; made all, not settle fully, shaken up 3f out, kept going well; is reportedly set for a return to fences, but regardless of where he appears next, he will command plenty of respect in his bid for the 4-timer.
