is as tough as they come and proved that she has stamina in abundance to win on her first try at this trip; raced clear, reduced advantage approaching home turn, headed 2 out, led again last, dug deep under pressure; now an 8-time winner under Rules (also successful in a point), she is reportedly set to be offered for sale at Cheltenham next week.

lost out to a stronger stayer after getting to the front; mid-division, went handy early final circuit, produced to lead 2 out, headed last, finished tired; she's a reliable sort but has now had 3 hard races in a row.

a remote second in this race last year, was presumably having a pipe-opener after 8 months off, his season likely to be geared around another tilt at the National; held up, headway into distant third before 3 out, in contention approaching home turn, no threat from 2 out, considerately handled.
