has thrived this year and ran well upped in grade, just edging off the rail and leaving the winner a gap arguably costing him the win given the narrow margin at the line; led, edged right home turn, kept on well, headed near line; will continue to give a good account.

again ran well, almost better than ever after just 3 starts for this yard, though actually winning in this grade demands a fair bit more; slowly into stride, in rear, headway over 1f out, stayed on, nearest at the finish.

presumably had issues following his winning 3-y-o reappearance and offered something to work on faced with a stiff task in first-time cheekpieces after 12 months off; slowly into stride, in rear, headway 2f out, short of room briefly 1f out, plugged on, not unduly punished; likely to be better for the run.

failed to build on the promise of last run but this was a stiffish task and he shouldn't be overlooked back in handicap company; mid-field, took keen hold, weakening when short of room final 1f.
