has developed into a useful hurdler since last seen in this sphere in 2022/23 and, back down in trip and in first-time cheekpieces, took his form to just about that level after 8 months off; mid-field, untidy tenth, progress after next, chased leader 4 out, every chance 2 out, held final 100 yds; will remain lower in the weights in this sphere and likely to progress again.
