back over fences, made it 3 wins from his last 3 starts in this sphere, improving a chunk each time, arguably worthy of extra credit here too given he was held up in a modestly-run affair; in rear, jumped left, went with zest, headway when not fluent 5 out, hung left from 3 out, went second next, led run-in, hung left, kept on; his first chase success came at Limerick but he shaped here as though he'll perhaps be best kept to left-handed tracks, open to further improvement all the same.

A few weren't seen to best effect which limits the view of the form somewhat, but the winner is highly progressive over fences and the runner-up is thriving, the pair pulling clear of one who was ridden as though there are other targets in mind for him; the pace was on the modest side.

DADS LAD (IRE) back over fences, made it 3 wins from his last 3 starts in this sphere, improving a chunk each time, arguably worthy of extra credit here too given he was held up in a modestly-run affair; in rear, jumped left, went with zest, headway when not fluent 5 out, hung left from 3 out, went second next, led run-in, hung left, kept on; his first chase success came at Limerick but he shaped here as though he'll perhaps be best kept to left-handed tracks, open to further improvement all the same.
