after 6 months off, made the most of a good opportunity, her last in novice company; close up, not fluent fourth, led before 3 out, quickened clear straight, ridden before last, found extra; she's likeable, and has the physique for chasing, if connections opt for that rather than handicaps.

confirmed herself an improved performer up in grade, though was seen to maximum effect in a tactical race; led, travelled well, headed before 3 out, ridden straight, kept on well run-in, held final 100 yds.

less exposed than the rest, was highly tried on just his second start over hurdles and ran to a similar level as on his debut, despite the run of the race being against him, looking to need more emphasis on stamina; in touch, outpaced before 3 out, kept on straight; remains open to improvement.

underperformed, possibly stretched by the longer trip, though this was hardly a test of stamina and it may be he just wasn't himself for whatever reason; held up, not fluent 3 out, ridden after, weakened straight.

A small field, tactical affair, the first 2 sharing those positions throughout, the race taking shape only really from 2 out, the winner not needing to be at her best.

BRILLARE MOMENTO (IRE) after 6 months off, made the most of a good opportunity, her last in novice company; close up, not fluent fourth, led before 3 out, quickened clear straight, ridden before last, found extra; she's likeable, and has the physique for chasing, if connections opt for that rather than handicaps.

TREACKLE TART (IRE) confirmed herself an improved performer up in grade, though was seen to maximum effect in a tactical race; led, travelled well, headed before 3 out, ridden straight, kept on well run-in, held final 100 yds.

JABULANI (FR) less exposed than the rest, was highly tried on just his second start over hurdles and ran to a similar level as on his debut, despite the run of the race being against him, looking to need more emphasis on stamina; in touch, outpaced before 3 out, kept on straight; remains open to improvement.

ITS ALL GUESSWORK (IRE) after 9 weeks off, shaped better than the bare result, his mistake when the pace was quickening crucial; held up, effort when mistake 2 out, not quicken, not fluent last.
