ended 2025 out of form, dropping back down the weights as a result and proved as good as ever to resume winning ways back from 3 months off; mid-field, pushed along home turn, headway early in straight, led inside final 1f, driven out.

ran up to best after 8 weeks off, doing well under the circumstances given how hard he went over a trip that arguably stretches him; raced clear, took strong hold, pushed along early in straight, hung right entering final 1f, headed soon after, kept on; he's one to be interested in next time, all the more so back at 5f.

again ran creditably to earn back-to-back placings, and might have got past the long-time leader if not catching a bump off him; in touch, pushed along over 2f out, carried right inside final 1f, stayed on.

had a fantastic 2025 and shaped as if retaining all his ability after 4 months off; held up, went with zest, going well when forced to switch early in straight, ridden over 1f out, ran on; there will be easier pickings than this for him over the next few weeks.

The feature of this fairly useful sprint handicap was the strong gallop set by Twilight Fun, who did well to hold on for second but had no answer when the reappearing Knebworth swept by.

KNEBWORTH ended 2025 out of form, dropping back down the weights as a result and proved as good as ever to resume winning ways back from 3 months off; mid-field, pushed along home turn, headway early in straight, led inside final 1f, driven out.

STANLEY SPENCER (IRE) can have a line put through this run, getting the worst of it when the leader hung down the centre; chased leader, ridden over 2f out, keeping on when badly hampered entering final 1f, not recover.
