improved further as he completed the hat-trick under a change of rider; in touch, travelled smoothly, pushed along approaching final 1f, led final 100 yds, kept on; he's a straightforward sort who seems sure to give his running again next time.

has progressed with each run since coming back to these shores and, in first-time cheekpieces, marked himself out as one to be interested in again, very well treated on his 3-y-o form after all; close up, led over 1f out, edged right inside final 1f, headed final 100 yds, ran on.

typically gave running despite being unable to adopt his usual prominent pitch; hampered start, waited with, headway over 1f out, kept on, never a threat; he probably won't be long in winning again.

had been gelded and undergone a breathing operation since his final start for Aidan O'Brien (sold 15,000 gns) 9 weeks earlier, and offered something to work on for his new yard, albeit without looking completely straightforward; awkward leaving stalls, waited with, effort when short of room over 1f out, plugged on last ½f, never a threat; he'll perhaps prove best over 6f on all-weather, while the return of headgear next time would be no surprise.
