fitter for recent run, proved better than ever and was value for extra the way this unfolded, too; in touch, headway over 2f out, led around 1f out, won readily; a scopey individual who's had just 6 runs in his life, he'll be interesting again.

ran well to prove himself over 2f longer trip, admittedly in a race run at an ordinary tempo; tracked pace, took keen hold, every chance over 1f out, kept on and quite readily on top of the rest.

is better judged on previous form, having little chance the way this developed; dwelt, held up, took keen hold, still plenty to do under 2f out, late headway, left poorly placed; there's nothing wrong with his Newcastle form and he's worth another chance to prove himself still well handicapped.

in first-time tongue strap, underperformed back on all-weather, his position a pretty hopeless one but he didn't exactly impress with his attitude in trying to overcome it; missed the break, in rear, effort over 2f out, carried head awkwardly, merely closed up a bit late.

Overrounds: Industry SP 117%, Betfair SP 99.7%

None of the fancied ones fired, putting a dampner on the form of a useful handicap run at a slow gallop, but the winner looks full value for an improved effort.

SEA THE SHELLS fitter for recent run, proved better than ever and was value for extra the way this unfolded, too; in touch, headway over 2f out, led around 1f out, won readily; a scopey individual who's had just 6 runs in his life, he'll be interesting again.
