is progressive bar a blip on soft ground and wasn't beaten far in pursuit of an all-weather hat-trick after 7 weeks off; prominent, ridden over 1f out, kept on, well positioned; will continue to give a good account.

without the headgear this time, ran creditably back up in trip after 8 days off and his consistency is hard to knock; held up, headway over 1f out, one paced; did well from his position and should remain competitive.

is unexposed as a sprinter and caught the eye back on all-weather, getting just about as close as he could given how the race developed; held up, headway out wide over 1f out, kept on, nearest at the finish, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; one to keep on right side.

ran best race over 2f shorter trip after 8 weeks off but it's doubtful he's going to be a sprinter and he also needs plenty of improvement to defy this mark; in rear, headway over 1f out, kept on, never nearer, would have benefited from a stronger gallop; worth a try at 7f.

is best not judged on this run after 8 days off, refusing to settle as his rider attempted to restrain him after a good break; he's an out-and-out 5f performer and has run in more unsuitable races than suitable ones so far this season - a 0-75 over a bare 5f is the sort of race in which he could prove hard to catch.
