back on his correct mark, is all about stamina and returned to form back up in trip in first-time visor, cutting down a trio that had all raced much more prominently; mid-division, still plenty to do 4 out, ridden before 3 out, fourth when not fluent 2 out, stayed on to lead final 50 yds; consistency has never been his strong suit, but he's now 2 wins from 3 starts at trips in excess of 3½m.

back down in trip, looked the most likely winner for much of the way; close up, led ninth, bumped fourteenth, headed sixteenth, not fluent seventeenth (kept mistakes to a minimum), went on again home turn, looked in control last, collared final 50 yds.

well backed, ran one of this season's better races with cheekpieces back on, seeing out the longer trip; chased leaders, not fluent nineteenth, hit twentieth, ridden from 3 out, second 2 out, one paced; he's likely to be of interest again from this sort of mark, his very best efforts have come on soft/heavy going.

The relatively early departure of Sidi Ismael robbed this staying handicap of its one unexposed runner, but it still proved a relatively competitive race, the trio that followed the winner home rather setting things up for him by pressing on a long way out, the runner-up arguably shaping best in the circumstances.

SUPREME ESCAPE (IRE) back on his correct mark, is all about stamina and returned to form back up in trip in first-time visor, cutting down a trio that had all raced much more prominently; mid-division, still plenty to do 4 out, ridden before 3 out, fourth when not fluent 2 out, stayed on to lead final 50 yds; consistency has never been his strong suit, but he's now 2 wins from 3 starts at trips in excess of 3½m.
