resumed winning ways back at the course where he'd made a successful reappearance, returning from an 8-week break with the stable in flying form; pressed leader, upsides thirteenth, went on 5 out, pushed along before next, stayed on well; he isn't the smoothest traveller but keeps finding on his good days and seems suited by a stiff track such as this.

again ran creditably, having his chance; pressed leader, went on tenth, hit twelfth, joined next, effort 3 out, kept on; he's had some toughish tasks over fences and is surely up to winning a race or 2 in this sphere.

after 9 weeks off, ran well on form from a mark that demanded a bit more, unsurprisingly having no trouble with the step back up in trip; held up, mistake fifth, took closer order circuit out, in touch when blundered 5 out, effort 3 out, kept on.
