Just the 3 runners, and The Jean Genie looked to have things going ideally to plan with a relatively easy lead, but Quick, the outsider of the 3, finished the best and got up close home.

QUICK resumed winning ways back on firmer ground, seeing the 2f longer trip out well to cause a shock as the outsider of 3, building a rather in-and-out profile so far; in touch, ridden 2f out, stayed on to lead close home.

THE JEAN GENIE is about as reliable as they come at this level and ran creditably, having every chance; led, travelled fluently, quickened over 2f out, headed close home.
