useful over hurdles, attracted support sent chasing and looks set to rate higher in this sphere, getting the better of a more talented hurdler more comfortably than the margin and late scramble suggests; mid-division, in touch 4 out, not fluent next, jumped on 2 out, in control when clouted last, ridden out; open to improvement.

failed to progress from chasing debut, lacking a bit of conviction, and it's unlikely she'll prove as good in this sphere as over hurdles; led until slow fifth, led again 3 out, headed next, kept on but always held by winner.

has the build of a chaser and certainly offered something to work on pitched in quite deep for debut over fences after 8 months off; patiently ridden, not always fluent, headway when worst of mistakes 5 out, in contention between 3 out and 2 out, one paced latter stages; should improve.

showed something like hurdles form this time despite appearing to find the company much too hot kept to an insufficient trip; raced off the pace, badly outpaced sixth, plugged on from 3 out; remains capable of better as a chaser back over further.

ought to make a chaser but disappointed after 8 months off, though she did at least show aptitude and may well strip much fitter for this; chased leaders, untidy fourth, led sixth, not fluent 4 out, mistake next, brushed aside as she tired quickly, not persevered with once held; should prove a different proposition in this sphere in time.

down in trip from chasing debut, ended up well held but her position on the heels of the leaders 3 out is a better indication of how she's taken to chasing than the end result of her 2 starts, and she remains with potential; mid-field, in touch when awkward 3 out, left behind soon after.

claimed from Guillaume Macaire after winning at Fontainebleau 8 months earlier, isn't up to this grade (lost touch after sixth) but appears to have scope for one her age and jumped soundly enough to think she should make at least as good a chaser as hurdler.

sent chasing, paid the price for trying to mix it with some superior mares to some extent but again stopped quickly even so, and her record since arriving in Britain is most uninspiring; pressed leader, lost place before 5 out, folded, pulled up next.

The first fence after the winning post was omitted

Several were optimistic runners and it was a pair with graded form over hurdles who came to the fore, the winner jumping better in the main than the runner-up; a good tempo thinned the field out from the sixth.
