MAROWN (IRE) has won when fresh in the past and ran as well as he seems capable of these days, his losing run stretching back the best part of 3 years now, however; prominent, every chance from 4 out, left behind by winner between last 2.

DESTINY IS ALL (IRE) coped fine with these easier fences and ran creditably considering he found this barely enough of a test; in touch, chased leader after tenth, ridden end of back straight, in contention 4 out, one paced from next.

EAGLE TERRACE back over fences, probably found this too competitive, used to plying his trade around the gaffs; chased leaders, pushed along thirteenth, no threat from 5 out.

TELHIMLISTEN (IRE) back over fences and again without a hood, unquestionably needs to improve to defy this sort of mark but can't really be judged on this effort all the same, ridden in contrasting fashion to usual on his first crack at 3m and never looking likely to trouble the more prominently-ridden principals; dropped out, not always fluent, mistake 4 out, never on terms.

NED TANNER (IRE) had shaped well at Kelso but failed to complete for the first time in his career; patiently ridden, unseated rider tenth.

CHAMERON (FR) ran poorly on first outing since leaving Patrick Griffin after 8 months off; patiently ridden, not always fluent, struggling from eleventh, pulled up.
