A grand title and good prize money for a handicap that probably represents solid form for the grade, the field coming down the centre for the most part and making for a fair race.

SNASH (IRE) hadn't been seen to best effect on his previous start and, well backed, proved himself as good as ever with a second win in his last 3 starts; in touch, ridden over 2f out, stayed on to lead final 100 yds.

ABERAMA GOLD confirmed himself back in good heart with a visor retained, edged out over C&D for the second time in a fortnight; prominent, edged ahead approaching final 1f, headed final 100 yds, stayed on.

BERNARDO O'REILLY ran to a similar level to last time, the evidence of recent efforts suggesting he's about where he should be in the weights; mid-field, pushed along halfway, stayed on.

STREAMLINE turned out again quickly, ran to a similar level to last time and did it in a similar manner, too, proving no more than amenable to restraint than for his previous yard; dwelt, in rear, pulled hard, switched under 2f out, headway under pressure entering final 1f, kept on.

SUMMER SANDS ran to a similar level to last time; raced off the pace, shaken up under 2f out, kept on, made little impression.

CALL ME GINGER was hardly disgraced but, equally, might have been expected to do a bit better at a course where he's got such a good record; mid-field, shaken up over 2f out, kept on.

TOUSSAROK was back on a flat track and had every chance up just 2 lb since Epsom; prominent, not quicken approaching final 1f.

JORDAN ELECTRICS had been seen to good effect at York and wasn't disgraced despite beating just a couple home; prominent, not quicken final 1f.

NEVER DARK has beaten just 2 rivals in 4 starts so far this season; made running, headed approaching final 1f, weakened.
