followed up from last time, improving again in the process, showing a really determined attitude in the finish; mid-field, smooth progress 3f out, led approaching final 1f, responded well; he's going the right way and will remain of interest.

had eased in the weights and, partnered by a 7 lb claimer, eked out a bit of improvement, finding only a fellow 3-y-o too strong, though he did have the benefit of a good position; chased leader, led over 2f out, headed approaching final 1f, kept on.

claimer ridden, was all the better for his reappearance, proving at least as good as ever, no mean feat as an 8-y-o, though he was well postioned and will need to prove that he can repeat this in a more competitive scenario; never far away, ridden over 2f out, kept on.

well backed, shaped as if back in form, a modestly-run race back down in trip not playing to his strengths; raced off the pace, headway under pressure over 2f out, stayed on, never nearer.

easy to back, ran respectably back up in trip, not quite delivering all that he promised but the way this developed possibly didn't play to his strengths; mid-field, travelled better than most, bit short of room over 2f out, driven over 1f out, one paced; it is still early days with him.

having a belated first crack at this trip, wasn't disgraced on the face of it, though hardly looked the most enthusiastic under pressure; raced off the pace, not settle fully, ridden over 2f out, carried head awkwardly/hung left, never a threat.

upped in trip, achieved more than on debut for this yard but it wasn't an encouraging run, for all that he was poorly placed; slowly into stride, in rear, off the bridle before most, hung left, never on terms: he improved in blinkers for previous yard, current connections yet to apply them.

without the headgear this time, ran to just a similar level as last time, likely to have been beaten a bit further in a more truly-run race; prominent, not settle fully, lost place over 2f out, faded.

An open handicap in which a couple of 3-y-os came to the fore, Robinnielly on an upward curve and showing useful form to emerge on top; the pace was on the modest side, with the field finishing in a bit of a heap.

ROBINNIELLY (IRE) followed up from last time, improving again in the process, showing a really determined attitude in the finish; mid-field, smooth progress 3f out, led approaching final 1f, responded well; he's going the right way and will remain of interest.

NIETZSCHE well backed, shaped as if back in form, a modestly-run race back down in trip not playing to his strengths; raced off the pace, headway under pressure over 2f out, stayed on, never nearer.

NICHOLAS T easy to back, ran respectably back up in trip, not quite delivering all that he promised but the way this developed possibly didn't play to his strengths; mid-field, travelled better than most, bit short of room over 2f out, driven over 1f out, one paced; it is still early days with him.
