gelded since last seen, got back on the up after 4 months off making his handicap debut, the drop back to 1m probably in his favour given the speed he shows; made running, shaken up over 2f out, asserted approaching final 1f, always holding on; he was promoted to favouritism for the Cambridgeshire after this, though a fair bit more will likely be needed under a penalty given this wasn't an especially deep handicap for the grade.

was 6 lb higher than at Haydock but had shaped there as though this sort of mark wouldn't be beyond him, therefore it was slightly disappointing he was able to run to just a similar level; steadied at the start, went prominent after 2f, shaken up over 2f out, not quicken final 1f.

was back down in trip but probably still best not judged on this run, usually ridden much more prominently; dropped out, shaken up over 2f out, brief headway, beaten approaching final 1f; there's nothing at all wrong with his York second from a mark of 84, likely to be back to that mark after this.

again ran below form, going with little fluency for the second race in succession, no surprise if headgear is tried before much longer; mid-field, off the bridle long way out, pushed along halfway, beaten over 1f out.

All 7 ran.

Winning Owner: Chasemore Farm

Time: 1m 40.96s

Overrounds: Industry SP 116%, Betfair SP 99.9%

No reason to doubt this form, won by a lightly-raced 3-y-o, but it was hardly the deepest handicap by 0-105 standards and it's hard to take an especially positive view of the result with You're Hired as close as he was in third.

UNCLE BRYN gelded since last seen, got back on the up after 4 months off making his handicap debut, the drop back to 1m probably in his favour given the speed he shows; made running, shaken up over 2f out, asserted approaching final 1f, always holding on; he was promoted to favouritism for the Cambridgeshire after this, though a fair bit more will likely be needed under a penalty given this wasn't an especially deep handicap for the grade.
