Timeform logo Analyst's Verdict

PACE ATTACK progressed further when making his second handicap start a winning one at Southwell recently and he is taken to score again now that he's up and running. James Choice was only narrowly denied at Wolverhampton on his latest outing and is feared most, while Zarco could fare better this time around.

Betting Forecast

5/23.5 James Choice, 4/15 Pace Attack, 11/26.5 Hebridean Nomad, 8/19 Bankatary, 9/110 Zarco, 14/115 Rossa Raheen, 18/119 Captain Fox, 28/129 Affection, 28/129 White Storm, 40/141 Wise Counsellor

Claims can be made for all 5 but FIXATION looks the most progressive one and he did well when switched to this surface last year. Tribal Star is next best.

Did well here last winter and has taken his form to another level this year, winning at the Curragh and Gowran. Decent effort when mid-field in Premier Handicap at former track last time and this trip probably more suitable. Position Prediction: 1

Has produced some creditable efforts in defeat in some good staying races this season. Losing run is building but remains on a good mark and this is less competitive than what he's been contesting lately. Position Prediction: 2
Trainer : G. M. Lyons, Ireland Age/weight: 5 / 10-0 Form : 706-31700 Days off: 27

Produced a laboured effort in the Ebor at York but has been in good form otherwise this year, far from disgraced when beaten 3 lengths in a Premier Handicap at Leopardstown 4 weeks ago. Drop back in trip on all-weather debut might not be ideal. Position Prediction: 3
