13:50 THE PRESTIGE STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 3)
DANEH, a promising third in a Deauville Group 3 last time, has the pedigree to suggest she will raise her game further, so she could take a fair bit of stopping. Prosperous Voyage is open to more improvement now raised in grade, with Hello You another key contender on form.
14:05 THE WILLIAM HILL SILVER CUP HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2)
A very interesting 3-y-o handicap. LIFE ON THE ROCKS was an eyecatcher on his handicap/yard debut recently and is selected to provide Richard Fahey with a third win in this race since 2016. Barn Owl has made a good start to his handicap career and rates an obvious threat, while it'll be interesting to see how much strength there is in the market behind returning pair Titian and March Law.
14.25 THE SHELL HOUSE HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 2)
Clive Cox looks to hold a very strong hand here and his DANCE FEVER is taken to gain a deserved win after two fine recent placed runs and edge out his improving stable companion Aratus, who bids for a four-timer. Escobar arrives in great order too and seems sure to have a say in a useful handicap.
14:45 THE CLOSE BROTHERS HOPEFUL STAKES (CLASS 1) (Listed Race)
TABDEED seemed back to his best when a close third in the Hackwood Stakes at Newbury last time, so his claims are obvious dropping in grade here. Summerghand's form has dipped slightly and he must concede weight all round, but he still commands plenty of respect. Royal Scimitar remains unexposed at this trip and also looks interesting.
15:00 THE MARCH STAKES (CLASS 1) (Group 3) (In Memory Of John Dunlop)
NAGANO was an impressive winner of a handicap at the festival here a month ago and promises to be well suited by the extra distance on offer here, so he should make a winning transition to pattern company before going on to bigger things. Dancing King is regarded as the main danger after his narrow reverse in listed company last week, and Juan de Montalban isn't without a chance.
15:15 THE WILLIAM HILL BEVERLEY BULLET SPRINT STAKES (CLASS 1) (Listed Race)
A cracking renewal featuring the last 2 winners of the race, including 2020 scorer DAKOTA GOLD. He's been out only 3 times this year but wasn't seen to best effect in the Nunthorpe at York last week and, returned to calmer waters, a bold showing is expected. That said, 2019 winner Judicial scored well at Chester recently and is feared, along with Hurricane Ivor and Tis Marvellous.
15:35 THE CELEBRATION MILE (CLASS 1) (Group 2)
BENBATL hasn't been seen since his third in the Joel at Newmarket last autumn but he overcame an absence of nearly a year when winning that same contest in 2019 and has a number of efforts on his CV which would make him hard to beat here. Chindit has fallen short at the very highest level since his Greenham win but he's been performing with credit and rates the chief threat ahead of Happy Power.
