The 3-year-old son of Scat Daddy looked an exciting prospect following successive wins earlier in the campaign, and also had a good effort to his name in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot, when third behind Calyx and Advertise, with the latter-named recently scoring in Group 1 company at the Curragh.
Although a shade dissapointing in the Phoenix and Middle Park Stakes on his most recenet appearances, he delivered upon his earlier promise to score in the five-furlong Group Three on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket.
Sent off as the 3-1 favourite for the race, O'Brien's charge was still at the rear of the field going in to the final two furlongs, but made rapid headway once Donnacha O'Brien asked him for his effort.

A winning start to the day for Aidan and Donnacha O'Brien.
Talking after the race, trainer Aidan O'Brien said: "He was always so quick at home. The first time we stepped him up to six furlongs he lost that bit of brilliance. It's amazing the difference a furlong makes - obviously he is really a five-furlong horse.
"We were going to let him relax wherever he was. Donnacha did give him a very good ride. It's very rare to come from the back like that.
"It's possible he could go to America (Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint). He has had a busy enough campaign and it might be possible we put him away for next year."
