13:50 Bet365 Handicap - Newmarket (July)
MIGRATION was disappointing in the Britannia, but looked a handicapper going places when winning on the Rowley over 1m prior to that and he could raise his game over this trip. There's plenty of collateral form given the aforementioned Ascot race and the London Gold Handicap at Newbury are well represented, with Solid Stone expected to get back on the up. Majestic Dawn completes the shortlist.
14:25 Duchess Of Cambridge Stakes (Group 2) - Newmarket (July)
DAAHYEH was impressive in the Albany and is likely to be tough to beat again with further improvement on the cards. Celtic Beauty chased her home at Royal Ascot and gets the nod for the forecast spot again ahead of Final Song, who promises to be suited by the step up to 6f.
14:40 William Hill Leading Racecourse Bookmaker Handicap - York
With plenty of scope for further improvement, the 3-y-o DURSTON looks the way to go. He got the better of a useful yardstick when making it 2-2 in handicaps at Chester and a 6 lb rise is hardly prohibitive. Anythingtoday is feared on the back of his clear-cut Newcastle victory, but the selection's stablemate Oasis Fantasy, who was just ahead of Speed Company at Windsor, rates the main danger.
15:00 bet365 Trophy (Heritage Handicap) - Newmarket (July)
CALIBURN has improved again this term, confirming all the promise of his return/yard debut display at York when running out a convincing winner at Pontefract last month. He's open to further progress now exploring this longer trip and may well represent a spot of value. Ben Vrackie very much caught the eye at Royal Ascot and is high on the shortlist back at 1¾m, ahead of Secret Advisor and Outbox.
15:15 William Hill Summer Stakes (Group 3) - York
A big field for this Group 3 and many can be given a chance. Unbeaten ARCHER'S DREAM looks the one to side with, however, as she is still on the up and looks ready to pass her sternest test yet with flying colours. Perfection is highly respected for the in-form David O'Meara yard and can follow her home ahead of Shades Of Blue and Glass Slippers who look set for the minor honours.
15:35 Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes (Group 2) - Newmarket (July)
The form of QABALA's third in the Guineas reads well in the context of this race and her subsequent poor effort in the Irish equivalent is easy to draw a line through given she scoped dirty, so she's worth another chance to make the breakthrough at the top level. I Can Fly and One Master both acquitted themselves well at Royal Ascot last month and should provide stern opposition.
