after just 6 days off, again ran creditably to hit the frame again; dropped out, headway over 2f out, chased leaders over 1f out, one paced.
6 Jun 19 Ham C4 Hcap (0-85) 4/15 2.95 Turf 79 9.2f Gd/Sft (h) Jamie Gormley (3) 25/126 65.58 -/20 3 98.6 108 83 106
well beaten over hurdles recently, returned to form in first-time hood (on Flat); raced wide in mid-division, pushed along from 3f out, stayed on final 1f, never nearer.
16 May 19 Per C4 Novice F/9 Hurdle N 16.2f Gd/Frm (h) Ross Chapman 10/34.33 4.84 -/4.5 4x 106.4 +
in a first-time hood, shaped like a non-stayer again even in a steadily-run race, taking a tired fall; held up, not jump well, reminders after fourth, headway next, weakening when fell last.
25 Apr 19 Per C4 Novice 7/9 20.5 Hurdle N 16.2f Good Ross Chapman 16/117 30 -/12 5p 110.5 71 81+ 104+
fairly useful on the Flat, has a 1¼m win in that sphere to his name but his best recent form is over shorter (effective at 6f) and he isn't sure to to stay over jumps, not seeing this out having made some progress that suggests he's probably in good heart; dropped out, not always fluent, took strong hold, headway before 2 out, no further impression, not knocked about; a return to shorter trips on the Flat is probably the best course of action with him.
31 Mar 19 Don C4 Hcap (0-85) 10/12 26.5 Turf 80 10.2f Gd/Frm Joe Fanning 14/115 20 -/16 1p 99.4 47 30 53
back up in trip, probably needed the run after 5 months off, while he gave himself little chance of lasting home on the day; raced clear, took strong hold, closed down 4f out, headed 3f out, dropped away, did too much too soon.

20 Oct 18 Cat C4 Hcap (0-80) 11/15 12.5 Turf 80 7f Soft Dougie Costello 8/19 9.4 -/6 3 97.0 66 52 75
back up in trip, found run of good form coming to a halt; mid-field, weakened 2f out.
11 Oct 18 Ayr C4 Hcap (0-80) 2/11 3.00 Turf 79 6f Heavy Callum Rodriguez 3/14f 3.9 -/2 2K 95 83 106
had no problem at all dropping back to 6f and ran well in trademark fashion, not quite matching the way he travelled with his finishing effort, though in fairness the winner was very well treated and he finished clear of the rest, so remains one to be positive about; handy, tanked along, upsides over 1f out, left behind by winner final 1f.
2 Oct 18 Ayr C3 Hcap (0-90) 3/13 1.25 Turf 79 7.2f Gd/Sft Joe Fanning 5/16 6.98 -/1.21 2K 99.9 106 84+ 107+
shaped very well again, in almost identical fashion to last time, and is a winner waiting to happen over this sort of trip when things go a bit more his way; close up on outer, travelled powerfully (bit too free early), led over 1f out, caught final 100 yds, did best of those ridden close up.
22 Sep 18 Ayr C3 Hcap (0-95) 3/12 3.00 Turf 80 7.2f Heavy Jamie Gormley (3) 14/115 17.89 -/4 2 96.8 109 84+ 107+
from just out of the handicap (though with good-value claimer taking over), ran to something like his Doncaster form this time after just 7 days off and deserves pelnty of credit for doing best of those ridden close up in an overly-strongly run race; chased leaders, quickened to lead around 2f out, edged right, headed over 1f out, kept on; one to be interested in, still lightly raced (particularly for this yard).
15 Sep 18 Mus C4 Hcap (0-80) 5/8 4.75 Turf 80 9f Gd/Frm Joe Fanning 11/26.5 7.18 -/6.6 4p 105.7 85 81+ 104+
shaped better than the distance beaten suggests, making up some ground from a poor position in rear, but he'll need to settle down if he's to fulfil his potential; raced off the pace, not settle fully, brief headway over 2f out, not sustain effort.
21 Aug 18 Ham C3 Hcap (0-90) 13/14 19 Turf 81 9.2f Gd/Sft Andrew Mullen 6/17 8.06 -/6.8 2 99.3 79 46 69
after 12 weeks off, shaped as if amiss; handy, dropped away over 2f out, eased off.

2 Jun 18 Don C3 Hcap (0-90) 1/7 0.75 Turf 76 10.2f Gd/Sft Kieran O'Neill 16/117 26.88 46/- 2P 106.2 90 85 108
upped in trip, showed improved form to pick up a second career success on first outing since leaving Mark Johnston after 9 months off, very fresh early on but effectively coping much better under the circumstances than the majority of his rivals did; prominent, pulled hard, short of room over 3f out, got gap over 2f out, led soon after, quickened clear, closed down late on but always holding on; he should remain competitive after a rise in the weights.

is unproven on the ground, possibly unsuited by it, and again ran below form; chased leaders, ridden 3f out, no extra over 1f out.
23 Aug 17 Yor C2 Hcap 14/17 12 Turf 80 6f Gd/Sft Franny Norton 33/134 83.05 -/75 4 98.0 72 46 69
was well held down 1f in trip and on softer ground than previously for this nursery bow, making a brief effort from off the pace around 2f out but never dangerous.
23 Jul 17 Red C5 Stks 4/10 6 Turf W 7f Gd/Frm P. J. McDonald 9/25.5 7.2 -/3.15 2 101.3 93 75 98
ran respectably without quite matching the form of his debut success; prominent, led over 2f out, headed over 1f out, hung right, no extra.
27 Jun 17 Lei C4 Stks 4/4 8.5 Turf W 7f Good P. J. McDonald 6/42.5f 2.56 -/2.02 2f 96.2 87 64 87
disappointed to the extent that something seemed amiss, possibly finding the race coming too soon just 11 days later, but either way the promise of that debut still very much stands; pressed leader, weakened over 2f out; remains with potential.
16 Jun 17 San C5 Mdn Stks 1/9 0.10 Turf M 7f Gd/Frm Silvestre De Sousa 5/16 6.8 6.4/- 1 103.0 103 79+ 102+
(€105,000Y: by Cape Cross: second foal: half-brother to useful 1m winner Promettre (by Canford Cliffs): dam, 1½m winner, half-sister to smart 1¼m-1½m winner Ice Queen) made plenty of appeal on paper, bred to be useful and from a yard with an excellent record in the race, and he made a successful debut, despite hints of inexperience under pressure; pressed leader, kicked on over 1f out, ran green, ridden out; will improve.
