was too free after 4 months off; in rear, took strong hold, never a threat; looks in the grip of the handicapper in any case, though.

underperformed, a wide trip through the first half of the race insuffucient excuse, checking out tamely; raced wide, mid-division, went prominent around halfway, struggling over 2f out, folded.
22 May 19 Kem C4 Hcap (0-85) 1/13 0.50 AW 81 8f Slow Silvestre De Sousa 5/16 6.8 11.5/- 2pr 100.7 101 p90+ p110+
is unexposed on all-weather and showed improved form to resume winning ways, doing well given not everything went his way; in touch, raced freely, short of room over 1f out, had to wait for gap, stayed on to lead inside final 1f, dug deep under pressure; will continue to give a good account.
25 Apr 19 ChC C4 Hcap (0-85) 5/9 0.37 AW 81 8f Slow Silvestre De Sousa 7/42.75f 2.88 -/2.52 3p 103.3 86 p85 p105
didn't have the standout chance suggested by the market and posted an effort up there with his best displays, showing the benefit of reappearance run; mid-field, raced freely, shaken up entering straight, switched final 1f, kept on.

gelded since last seen and back on firmer ground after 7 months off, wasn't disgraced and may well be sharper for the outing; mid-division, chased leaders 3f out, shifted left under pressure under 2f out, forced to check inside final 1f, not persevered with once held.

upped in trip and on softer ground than previously, clearly wasn't 100% on the day; raced off the pace, not settle fully, ridden over 2f out, made no impression.
24 Aug 18 Nmj C4 Hcap (0-85) 1/7 0.00 Turf 79 8f Gd/Frm Jason Watson (3) 11/82.37f 2.56 55/- 2kr 104 111 91 111
well backed after 3 months off, partnered by a rider who is good value for claim, found some improvement just when it was starting to look as if he'd levelled off, digging deep to gain a share of the spoils with a thriving rival; close up, travelled fluently, upsides under 2f out, headed 1f out, kept on well to get upsides again on line.

25 May 18 Hay C4 Hcap (0-80) 4/11 1.20 Turf 79 8f Gd/Frm Andrea Atzeni 3/14f 4.3 -/4.1 4sr 103.9 97 82 102
shaped a bit better than the bare result, caught out by the combination of a tardy start and this speed-favouring track, left poorly placed; slowly into stride, raced off the pace, ridden under 3f out, kept on well final 1f and never nearer; is clearly in good heart and worth a try at further than 1m, but it's worth pointing out he's already fully up to speed with his job and doesn't have much about him physically, which will count against him as the season progresses.
11 May 18 Asc C4 Hcap (0-85) 3/17 1.25 Turf 78 8f Firm David Probert 14/115 21.16 -/17.5 4r 108 88 108
relished this stiff mile and showed much improved form on handicap debut; held up, headway under pressure over 2f out, short of room approaching final 1f, stayed on well; he likely to stay further than 1m and can run in much less competitive handicaps than this.
30 Apr 18 Thi C5 Stks 2/9 1.75 Turf W 8f Gd/Sft David Probert 6/42.5f 2.79 -/2.94 3 97.0 73 74 94
ran creditably to be placed again but, given he was back up in trip and now has plenty of experience, it was a little disappointing that he couldn't progress further given how he'd shaped last time; mid-division, outpaced over 3f out, progress over 2f out, switched inside final 1f, kept on; he's a half-brother to Donjuan Triumphant, who's a real mudlark, and maybe soft/heavy ground will make a difference.
17 Apr 18 Nmr C4 Mdn Stks 3/13 2.50 Turf M 7f Gd/Sft Oisin Murphy 6/17 8.4 -/6 2r 100.0 87 78+ 98+
isn't much to look at, but again showed some promise, improving again after 6 months off; in touch, outpaced over 2f out, ran on late; will be suited by 1m and is open to further improvement.

left debut form well behind, much sharper second time up; prominent, led 2f out, headed entering final 1f, no extra final 50 yds; he has a smart pedigree to call upon and is likely to progress further.
29 Sep 17 Nmr C4 Mdn Stks 12/15 17 Turf M 7f Gd/Sft Oisin Murphy 22/123 41.55 -/36 5s 102.4 61 45+ 65+
(72,000F, €62,000Y, 110,000 2-y-o: by Raven's Pass: sixth foal: half-brother to 3 winners, including smart winner up to 7f Donjuan Triumphant (2-y-o 6f winner, by Dream Ahead) and useful winner up to 1m Caledonian Spring (by Amadeus Wolf): dam 2-y-o 7.5f winner) looked badly in need of the experience; dwelt, raced well off the pace, ran green, never on terms; should do better in time.
