How to use My Betslip
Placing a Single Bet Placing a Multiple Bet Manage bookmakers

Simply click a price on Race Passes and we’ll take you off to place your bet with your favourite bookmaker. You can also place single bets from the Bet Slip – just click the price in the Bet Slip.

Our Bet Slip allows you to build up your selections before you begin placing multiple bets with your favourite bookmakers. Click the +BET button to add your selections and then, when you’re ready, hit ‘Bet Now’ to go to your chosen bookmaker’s site and place your bets.

Select the bookmaker prices you want to display on Race Passes by switching the toggles between show and hide in the Bookmaker Manager, or use the Currently Showing selection screen. We will automatically display the best odds from your chosen bookmakers.

Note that Betfair Exchange prices are available to logged in customers only and are not included in the best odds calculation.

Nick Seddon picks out three eye-catching runners from Ascot on Saturday, including two from the highly competitive Victoria Cup.

Gilgamesh (Timeform rating 104p) Ascot, Saturday 12th May

Gilgamesh has carried the profile of a progressive sort for quite some time, completing a four-timer as a three-year-old at Redcar with a bit in hand around this time last year. We have only seen him three times since, and he looked badly in need of the run when racing too freely at Newbury on reappearance last month, but Saturday’s run was much more encouraging, finishing a close-up seventh, a performance that deserves extra credit considering that he finished best of those that raced in the smaller near-side group. He remains open to further improvement, appealing as the type who can be a contender in all the top handicaps over a mile later on this season, and is one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks; he would be a player in the Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot if getting in. Spanish City (Timeform rating 99p) Ascot, Saturday 12th May

Spanish City presumably hasn’t been the easiest to train, considering how lightly raced he is for his age. However, he put in a career-best effort when making a winning reappearance at Newcastle a fortnight ago, justifying strong market support to score readily and giving the impression that he could make an impact in some of the top handicaps this season.  He was unlucky not to finish closer in the Victoria Cup, too, held up and travelling well before running on late, nearest the finish. Spanish City remains unexposed and, given his relative inexperience, it was encouraging that the hustle and bustle of a big-field handicap didn’t deter him. With more progress expected, he is fancied to pick up a good handicap this season. Roger Varian

Sing Out Loud (Timeform rating 85p) Ascot, Saturday 12th May

Sing Out Loud is a likeable sort who generally runs his race, and proved to be a fairly useful two-year-old last term, picking up minor contests at Brighton and Lingfield and placing in four of his five starts. He shaped after six months off on Saturday, finishing a close-up seventh in a typically competitive three-year-old handicap, and deserved extra credit considering that he was poorly placed as the race went, situated on the stands side when the action unfolded more towards the centre. Sent off the 50/1 outsider, he still had plenty to do two furlongs out, and stayed on well towards the near-side, finishing with plenty of running left. He seems sure to improve further this season, appeals as being on a fair mark, and is well worth following. Gary Moore
