Hee Haws Winifer (Trap 6) - 18:22 Newcastle
Over at Newcastle we’re pretty keen on the chances of Hee Haws Winifer (Trap 6) when she lines-up in Newcastle’s 18.22. The daughter of Droopys Nidge has suggested her turn may not be far away of late, and with a good record in the grade of A5 to call upon, she can trap fast and attempt to make every post a winning one.
Bramble Thorn (Trap 4) - 18:39 Newcastle
Remaining at Newcastle, for all he isn’t getting any younger, it may to take a chance on Bramble Thorn (Trap 4, 18.39). A veteran November 12’ campaigner he holds a couple of today’s rivals on recent form and arrives operating from the same terms. A strong runner at the trip, he has a solid record in handicap company and he could well represent a spot of value.
Pennys Echo (Trap 6) - 19:26 Newcastle
Pennys Echo (Trap 6, 19.26) has long since established herself as a classy A1 tracker over the standard 480 metre distance and her strong running style has served itself well to tackling handicaps. Little went right for Angela Harrison’s charge last-time-out, forced to check 3 and unable to recover but still noted staying on well. The make-up of this handicap looks a good one, particularly given there are a number of middle/wide runners in opposition and she can again strike fast and late up the inside.
