The young sprinters come to the fore in the opening heats of Central Park's latest maiden series this evening and the promising BALLYDORGAN DES (Trap 1) looks set for a big run in the 19:36 contest. He's been clocking some good times in trials at Monmore and was second to standing dish Toms Legend in an open race at Central Park on his last competitive outing. A quick dog, he seems sure to have more to offer.
PENNYLANE AOIFE (Trap 6) can make her experience count in the second heat at 19:53. She was a frequent winner at Harlow right up to A5-class around 415m and has quickly made her mark sprinting at Central Park with a couple of victories when well backed.
HEADFORD TONY (Trap 5) has tasted defeat just once at Central Park and should get back to winning ways in Kent for Kev Hutton in the 21:01. A crack at the Eclipse at Nottingham was a write-off and he'll be much more at home on this track tonight, with his backers expected to be out in force.
