Who will win the Grand National on Saturday?

The most likely winner
Any Second Now ran a cracker when third in last year's Grand National, shaping even better than the result would suggest after meeting significant trouble in running. Any Second Now had just recovered from his sole blunder at the tenth fence when he was nearly brought to a standstill by the fallen Double Shuffle at the twelfth. The way he got back into contention was impressive and he left the impression that he may even have gone close to winning with a clear round. He looks primed for another big effort after resuming winning ways six weeks ago in the Grade 3 Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse, where he stayed on strongly to edge out Escaria Ten.
The best each-way option
Death Duty has been lightly raced since winning his Grade 1 novice chase in December 2017 (he also won a Grade 1 novice hurdle the previous season) but showed he remains a smart performer when landing the Grand National Trial over three and a half miles at Punchestown in February. He was only sixth in the Ultima Handicap Chase over 25 furlongs at the Cheltenham Festival last time, but that was a creditable performance behind some younger, unexposed rivals and he shapes like he will be suited by this marathon trip.
Timeform's 1-2-3:
1. Any Second Now
2. Delta Work
3. Death Duty
