Nothing to hold down the bare form of the third running of the only chase at the Festival restricted to mares but the outcome probably still underestimates the first 2 if anything given they still managed to come clear of last year's runner-up despite the field having turned in still well grouped bar a couple of exceptions, notably Magic Daze, whose declared refusal to race made her the worst sufferer of the meeting in a week not light on unsatisfactory starts under the current 'one strike' approach that calls for a standing start as soon as the conventional procedure fails to pass muster with the starter.
